Product specifications
These are the template files and page count specifications for RPI Print API's product offering. Select a size, cover type, and paper stock below to download a correctly sized template for any product with those attributes. Attributes that have no effect on a product's specifications are not shown here.
Templates are available for every design file your product requires. They mark important design constraints such as safe zones, trim lines, and bleed areas. Templates are available in PDF, PNG, and IDML formats. An interior book block template includes both a left page and a right page, and its PNG shows only one of them, so use the PDF or the IDML when you need both. A hardcover adds 0.25 inch to the final cover dimensions relative to the interior book block and the stated book size. The cover templates already include this allowance, so do not add it again.

Cover Spine Width
Spine width values differ across different paper types. Each paper type has a different sheet thickness, which changes the total spine width at the same page count. For some paper types, spine widths also differ by bleed type (Full Bleed vs. No Bleed). Ensure your integration passes the correct paper type when calculating spine dimensions.
